Alexia Kaye Campbell, playwright; David Aukin, director
Cast: Stockard Channing, Hugh Dancy, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Talene Monahan and John Tillinger
A woman of a certain age, a political radical and feminist living in Europe (presently England) for much of her life though American by birth, has recently written a memoir, with some important omissions. Confrontations and revelations follow. A fascinating study of the way in which people’s memories of the same events can so drastically differ. Cast is uniformly excellent, especially Talene Monahan whose character begins as a mildly annoying American naif, but may be the wisest of them all.
Roundabout Theater until December 16
Followed by dinner at Kellari Taverna.
