🍸 Sea Wall/A Life (Closed)

Transferred from the Public Theater to Broadway’s Hudson Theater, 145 W. 44th St.

Cast: Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge

Credits: “Sea Wall” written by Simon Stephens; “A Life” written by Nick Payne; Directed by Carrie Cracknell.

We thoroughly enjoyed these exquisite and gripping solo performances during it’s two month run (Feb and March 2019) off-Broadway at The Public Theater and can only assume audiences will enjoy an even more polished Broadway production with, we hear,  a bit more brevity in Gyllenhaal’s monologue.  Our advice is to not read the reviews, as they contain spoilers that may lessen your experience of two beautiful tales of love, loss, and fatherhood that will fill your heart. See it.

Runtime: 1 hr. and 45 min.
