Stunning solo performance from Laura Linney (and just how does she memorize all those lines???). A study in human relationships, particularly between mothers and daughters. What is the long term effect of the breakdown of that relationship? For fans of Linney, of the book by Elizabeth Strout, of solo-performances and for those for whom noise and aren’t required for an enjoyable thought-provoking theater experience. Stage seats available for those wanting a more personal experience with Laura Linney (and can handle making prolonged eye contact with an icon).
With Laura Linney. Written by Elizabeth Strout; Adapted by Rona Munro; Directed by Richard Eyre.
Closed February 29, 2020.
